The Ultimate Healthy Brownies (grain free, paleo, 6 ingredients!)

The Ultimate Healthy Brownies

Serves: 8 brownies

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1/4 cup honey

1/2 cup almond flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup + 3 TBS cacao powder

1/4 cup filtered coconut oil, slightly melted (I almost always use filtered coconut oil because it tastes out the coconut taste; if you don't have the filtered kind, you can use regular coconut oil (it just will have a coconut flavor), avocado, or hemp oil)

Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips (I love chopping up Eating Evolved chocolate!)

Directions:

1.)  Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium-size bowl, beat the eggs. Add in the honey. Stir.

2.) Mix in the almond flour and baking powder. Then add in the cacao powder.

3.) Lastly, stir in the slightly melted coconut oil (should look like soft butter) and chocolate chips.

4.) Pour batter into a 9 by 5 inch, parchment-lined pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes. (I like baking mine for 30 minutes bc my family loves ooey gooey brownies! I've also baked them for 37ish minutes and they were still surprisingly fudgey, just a little denser!)
