I can't believe we are nearing the end of 2017! In no particular order, I've listed some of my favorite (food) products that I have enjoyed so much throughout 2017!
NuttZo Nut Butter:
I can't say enough about NuttZo, I LOVE it! Each jar is made with just a variety of organic nuts and Celtic sea salt; there are no hidden ingredients (as every nut butter should be)! It is pricey, but I HIGHLY recommend you try it at least once! (PS: If you love NuttZo but find you are going through a jar pretty quickly, I recommend buying a cheaper alternative like almond butter to use in recipes and saving the NuttZo for your breakfast, snacks, etc! This may help you not go through a jar as quickly!)
Square Organics:
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I LOVE all three of the Square Organics products: chocolate coated protein bars, protein crisps (like rice krispies), and protein popcorn! All of their products are refined sugar FREE which is so key to me because (refined) sugar is a catalyst for inflammation and disease. Below I've listed my a few of my favorite Square products (but I seriously love them ALL):
Chocolate Coated Mint Bars (These taste like a Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie, especially when you leave them in the fridge for a few hours!)
Chocolate Coated Cookie Dough Bars ( yes, they taste as good as they sound!)
Spicy Protein Popcorn: each bag of popcorn has TEN grams of plant-based protein and the serving size is a whole bag of popcorn which is pretty awesome!) I personally LOVE the spicy popcorn; if you're unsure, the Classic Sea Salt Square Organics Popcorn is a great place to start!

Eating Evolved:
Eating Evolved Chocolate has CHANGED my life! For awhile I had been on the hunt for a chocolate company that didn't use refined sugar to sweeten their products. Then on Instagram I learned about Eating Evolved chocolate which is refined-sugar free because it's sweetened with coconut sugar which is low glycemic ( meaning that it doesn't spike your blood sugar as easily as other sweeteners like cane sugar and even maple syrup).
My mom and I ADORE the Almond Sea Salt Chocolate Bar.
I also love the Limited Edition Double Chocolate Quinoa Coconut Cups that have a fudgey inside and are just so darn good!

Food for Life:
Food for Life makes everything from bread to waffles to pita bread! All of their products are made with REAL (meaning no corn syrups or refined sugar), organic ingredients that are sprouted! Why does it matter that the ingredients are "sprouted"? Using sprouted ingredients helps your body digest those nutrients better and get more nutrients/vitamins out of them!
I love the 7 Sprouted Grains Bread and the Cinnamon Raisin English Muffins are SO DELICIOUS too! I haven't tried their pasta or cereals, but, once again, the ingredients are 10/10 and I'm sure they are just as delicious as their other products!
Purely Elizabeth:
Purely Elizabeth Granola is hands down my FAVORITE granola I've ever eaten. The best thing about P.E. granola (besides that it tastes frickin BOMB) is that it's low in sugar! and coconut sugar that is which means it's refined sugar free AND does't spike your blood sugar! Most other granolas contain up to TWENTY grams of refined sugar for just 1/4 cup compared to Purely Elizabeth granola which has only 6 grams of natural sugar for 1/3 cup!! You really can't beat Purely Elizabeth! You can find it at Walmart, Target, and Whole Foods!
Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter:
Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter changed my life this past year! In my house, we bought JIf Peanut Butter for my whole life except for this past year when we switched to a slightly more nutritious kind. Though, I still wasn't happy with the ingredients of the peanut butter that we were buying. Then I found Crazy Richard's and I literally jumped for joy! Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter contains only ONE ingredient: PEANUTS! You're probably thinking, "Well, doesn't every peanut butter contain just peanuts?", and my answer would be a big NO!! So many nut butters contain sugar/high fructose corn syrup (AH) and inflammatory oils! But never fear, Crazy Richard's has your back! As well, Crazy Richard's peanut butter is VERY inexpensive; I'm talking under $3 for a jar!
You can find their products in Kroger and Meijer (plus many other stores! Use their store locator to find some near you) !
Thorne Research:
My family has actually been using protein powder from Thorne Research for about 4 years! It contains NO artificial sweeteners like SO many protein powders; it kills me that people buy protein powders that appear to be "healthy" but in reality they just contain a load of sugar and artificial flavors! Thorne Research has grass-fed whey protein powders as well as plant-based ones.
We only ever buy THIS or THIS kind, AKA the chocolate flavors (is that even surprising?HAHA). They have SO many other products for immune support, pregnant women, etc!
True Made Foods:
Ah, True Made Foods Sauces are the bomb.com! They have three kinds: Veracha (like sriracha), BBQ Sauce, and Ketchup! Each sauce is loaded with VEGGIES (yes, veggies!!) like tomatoes, carrots, and butternut squash! The Veracha Sauce has NO added sugar and their ketchup has only 2 grams (compared to the normal 7-8 grams in name brand ketchups)! All of these sauces are family approved; my super picky brother had NO idea that the ketchup he has eating was from True Made Foods, aka it's delicious!
Eden Foods:
Eden Foods is dear to my heart because it started here in Michigan! It is an organic company that has everything from organic beans to tamari sauce to spaghetti sauce! I especially love Eden Foods' Organic Spaghetti Sauce made with an heirloom variety of organic tomatoes, herbs, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil! Again, so many canned sauces contain an ingredient list that is five miles long and is full of added sugar and other crap! But not Eden Foods!

Siete Foods:
Last but certainly not least, I love Siete Foods Grain Free Tortilla Chips! Jeannette Ogden from @shutthekaleup on Instagram shows so much love for Siete Products that I knew I needed to try them and they did not disappoint! They have three flavors: Sea Salt, Lime (my FAVE), and Nacho! The chips are vegan, paleo, and grain free, made with cassava flour ( which comes from a root vegetable) and avocado oil! You really can't beat the ingredients! They are a bit pricey, so I always make sure to stock up when they are on sale at Whole Foods! But let's be real, they don't last that long even when I think I've "stocked up" enough LOL.
Siete Foods also has Grain-Free Toritillas which I have not had the pleasure to try, but everybody who tries them absolutely LOVES them!
Let me know if you try any of my "Top 10 Favorite (Food) Products of 2017"!
