Avocado Cilantro Sauce (high protein, no sugar)
Here is the creamiest avocado cilantro sauce on the planet, my friends!
It has multiple uses:
as a spread on sandwiches and toast
mix it with noodles to create a delicious, refreshing pasta
use as a dip for veggies or chips
Cilantro Avocado Sauce:
Serving: ~3/4 cup sauce
Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
3/4 medium/normal-sized avocado
1/2 cup packed cilantro, stems and all (because who has time to “de-stem” the cilantro!!?)
2 cloves of garlic 1/2 tsp @edenfoods sea salt (don’t skimp on the salt! It pulls all the flavors together)
Crank of pepper
1/4 tsp onion powder**
1/2 small lime, juiced
Directions: 1.) Blend everything together in the food processor until smooth and creamy, and voila, you’re done!
**Adjust the onion to taste, if needed. I didn’t want a super strong onion flavor, so I only used a little!
